The Experiencing God bible study by Henry Blackaby has become a “wrecking ball” to many lives participating in the study on Wednesday nights. Wrecking our old ways of thinking, wrecking and tearing down self centeredness, all the while leaving us desiring to do His will. When something is wrecked or torn down one makes a decision to have it put back together, or leave it to lay. This reminds me of the broken, wrecked lives that are willing to get back upon the potter’s wheel for the reshaping and molding. It’s in the breaking and reshaping that our character is developed through the Masters hands. Father I pray that through humility we have the desire to be continually moldable for your glory, not that of our own.
